Emisiones Neutras

Our organization specializes in investments for the innovation, development and execution of projects, accounting for social, environmental and economic factors

We are creating a methodology that at the time of its implementation achieves that the plant grows in such a way that added to the natural growth structure of the Nopal / Prickly Pear it can double and even triple the capture of CO2

METHODOLOGY

Our methodology, pre-tested and being accredited by different registries, is based on the amount of biomass that the Nopal/Tuna can accumulate in its life cycle, with proper maintenance. Carbon capture is 60% of the total throughout the life of the plant.

PRODUCTIVITY

It is possible to increase the volume of  prickly pear harvest, which means greater productivity per area planted and the possibility of improving producers income.

REPOBLATION AND STRENGTHENING OF THE PRESENCE OF NATIVE FAUNA

With the reduction of agrochemicals, local fauna increases: squirrels (Sciurus spp), teporingos (Romerolagus diazi), nopalera rats (Neotoma leucodon), wild hares, and rabbits. With them, the arrival of birds of prey, such as eagles and hawks, is also generated.

BEST PRACTICES

No agrochemicals are used. This benefits the environment and carbon sequestration.

RECHARGE OF HAND PRAYERS

With the agricultural practices of PILETAS and CAJETES, 50% of rainwater stays in the farms; surface runoff that causes soil loss and erosion is reduced.

The captured water is used for a productive purpose and part of it is filtered to the water table. Annual Average Precipitation | 585 to 750 mm.
